Unlike most other metallurgical microscopes, this model comes with both reflected (EPI) and transmitted illuminations as well as a 5M (2592x1944) pixel true color digital image system. It is an ideal instrument for metallurgical, mineral and crystal identification. It is also a great microscopy system for viewing transparent materials including those in biological applications. This microscope offers eight magnification settings (40X, 64X, 100X, 160X, 400X, 640X, 1000X, and 1600X). The 5MP true color USB2.0 camera captures microscope images and displays live video on your PC screen. On board hardware there are specially designed smart white balance, auto exposure, color adjustment, and digital image processing. It offers real-time live images and excellent real-color images, compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7. It has a built-in reduction lens and gives the same field of view images on your PC screen as those seen through eyepieces. With the user-friendly software, you can edit microscope images in the same way as you use PhotoShop. You can record videos, capture still images or save them in BMP, TIFF, JPG, PICT, PTL or other formats. You can also measure length, angle, area, and etc. across the images. The microscope comes with a 30° inclined 360° rotatable trinocular head, coarse & fine focusing, mechanical stage, and halogen EPI-illumination and transmitted illumination system. This is an excellent metallurgical microscopy system for a variety of industrial and research applications including metallurgical labs, silicon wafer inspection, industrial Inspection, quality control, and foundries.
